The 5 am club challenge
You need to follow this challenge if:
1- If you're one of those who turns off the alarm in the morning
2- You say you're going to get up early, but you never do
3- It's very difficult for you to get out of bed
4- You could sleep a whole day
5- The days are not enough for you and you almost never fulfill your tasks
6- You don't feel productive
7- You do a thousand things at once and feel anxiety
The key to success is organization, organization, or-ga-ni-za-tion.
This challenge is inspired by the book The 5am Club by author Robin Sharma.
He says that if one starts with an established routine starting at 5 am, we will obtain an enormous amount of benefits that'll make us much more productive, organized and will enhance our mindfulness (full attention).
Be careful, getting up at 5 am is not to put you to work at that time, but to give you some time to take care of yourself as self-care. Try it, start doing it three days a week (Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday) and gradually increase the number of days until you wake up from Monday to Friday at 5 am and so on.
It's important to tell you that to meet this challenge, your willpower must be much greater than your laziness. So get on with it.
To get started, fill out this form
- What time do you normally wake up?
- What time do you normally go to sleep?
- From 1 to 10, how much energy do you feel you have during the day?
- From 1 to 10, how productive do you feel during the day?
Objective of the challenge: I control the day and not that the day controls me
But whyyyyyy at 5 am?
They call it the time of victory because silence, calm, serenity, and tranquility create the perfect environment to activate your mental fluidity.
Getting up and seeing that it's still night and that you're already doing something for your well-being has a very strong impact on your life.
What areas of your life are you going to work with this challenge?
— Mind psychologically- mindset
Getting up and before starting work, the rest of the things that are happening, worries, stress, duties, responsibilities are left aside because at that time in the morning you'll be giving yourself time for your physical, emotional and mental health.
Life is too short not to treat yourself in the most extraordinary way possible.
— Heart - heartset
The power of will in this challenge is very important
That'll make you wake up quickly without it costing you work and without turning off the alarm clock
That is commitment and self-respect.
If you don't have at least 10 minutes to give yourself, you are not living a life
—Health- healthset
When you have all your mind focused on one thing, you have the best performance in each of the 4 blocks and more at a time when you have no distractions (because your friends and your bosses are still asleep and will not be bothering you in the WhatsApp groups).
High performance is not linear, it alternates cycles of excellence (intense and fantastic results) with periods of recovery (rest, fun, nature).
—Soul- soulset
Reconnecting with your values, your goals, about who you are and why you are here, what you are grateful for and that helps build your character and helps you focus on one quality activity at a time.
Use happiness as a GPS, trust your heart, your instinct and your intuition to choose people, goals and places.
This challenge will also improve the relationship with your money
In the book there is a part that talks about 'abundance' and says that you have to show the world that you know that prosperity is on the way, that you must work for it and do things that make you feel like you have a lot. Be grateful for the money you have today, trust, and always expect more.
There is another part that says that money must flow, because to receive more you must give more.
Example: leave good tips, donate to charity, do things for others, enter the world of investments and understand that money must be in movement because just as it leaves, it will return to us with a benefit.
The 5am Club Challenge Rules
1- It is recommended to sleep between 9 or 9:30 pm to be able to sleep at least 8 or 7 hours.
2- You should not turn off your alarm
3- You must be super disciplined and committed to meet the goals of the week.
4- Remember that thoughts, feelings, words, and actions are four creative tools that transform your desires into visible results.
You should start your day with the 20/20/20 method
First block
The first block of 20 minutes consists of moving, from exercising, going for a run, jumping rope, doing yoga, dancing, whatever you like.
It is recommended to start the day like this because it reduces stress hormones that make you feel good to start the day with all the attitude and energy, productivity and power.
Second block
The other 20 minutes to take a bath and meditate, reflect, pray, write in your diary, something that disconnects you and gives you absolute calm.
This will result in: being more creative and less reactive in situations and, above all, gratitude for life.
Third block
The other 20 minutes are for personal growth, organizing your day, writing the day's goals in your planner, reading a book, listening to a podcast, taking an online workshop.
Delegate, restructure your life to do only the things you are the best at and enjoy.
Fourth block
Have breakfast and start with your tasks for the day with everything to disconnect from the computer and the cell phone around 7:30 pm (I know it sounds impossible but try-it).
Disconnecting at 7:30 pm will bring you many benefits, one of them is that you will have time to spend with your family, read, talk with your friends, have dinner calmly and drop the tasks for the next day.
If you feel like you can't, turn to the 'concentration bubble'
- Turn off the TV
- Stay away from shopping malls
- Stop following people who drain your energy
- Turn off WhatsApp notifications
- Delete apps
The time when you least want to do something is the best time to do it.
We leave you with this final sentence so that you leave inspired to fulfill the 5 am Club Challenge like a pro.
To create magic in the world, master the magic within you.
Your relationship with yourself predicts your relationship with the world.
Be silent to listen to the whispers of the great genius that sleeps within you.
He dreams big things.
Start with the small ones.
Start now.
